Congrats To the League Winners
DWS conducts a "championship" each season, summer and winter, called the "DIX with Stix Challenge." The player who can post the lowest score on our "fantasy" golf course receives a wonderful trophy to commemorate their accomplishment. The "fantasy" course, which changes every year, is a selection of Glade course holes that combine to make a "fantasy" 18 hole course. Lowest scores for each season on these holes are combined to select a winner. Winners hold that trophy, in a place of honor, in their home until the next championship's results are determined. Past winners include:
Carl Richter, Corky Wilson (twice), Jim Hyland, Mike O'Hara (twice), Bob Bennett (twice), Chuck Buck, Denny Lown, and Joe Klein.
This years summer winner is Bob Hunt. Congrats Bob. The trophy is yours to display until the next winner. The trophy has your name engraved on the side for all to see.

Now, for every competition there must also be a competitor who does not fare so well, aka, the LOSER! A couple years ago. thanks to Judy Wilson and her keen shopping eye, the "perfect" trophy to commemorate last place was secured. Since the league has been awarding this "last place" trophy, there have been 3 recipients. Terry McCarthy, Bob Jasak and this years winner...
Harry aka Ichabod Shaw. I am sure that Harry will display his award proudly.
